Vincent Laterrade, with his experience as a former sommelier and a passionate lover of his Gers region, has been deeply dedicated for about ten years to selecting fine Armagnacs for independent aging and bottling. Throughout the year, he scours the region's cellars in search of treasures, old lots never bottled, sometimes never discovered, sleeping for decades in cellars from another era. His selection of Armagnacs is incredibly precise and complex, with acute tasting. Each year, superb lots emerge, like those from the greatest Scottish bottlers. The lots are never reduced, and you won't pay for the packaging, which is very sober but features very elegant bottles!!
Recently, he has also been aging a white cuvée, Etoile Filante, in barrels, with the same care as his Armagnacs. For this, he settled in a superb, typically Gersois barn with packed earth and wattle and daub, which he is renovating with a love for the old.
