This walnut liqueur comes from a natural family recipe by the Distillerie de la Salamandre in Sarlat. It is handcrafted from a blend of different walnut infusions (Périgord green walnuts and walnut husks), sugar, and a hint of caramel. Very concentrated in walnuts, with a fuller body than walnut water, you will appreciate it in a kir or cocktail, but also as a digestif at the bottom of a still-warm coffee cup. In the kitchen, it will also flavor your creams and desserts.
