The Tosolini family has dedicated over 80 years to the world of distillates and spirits. They founded their first distillery in Friuli, a few kilometers from Venice, in 1943. At that time, believing that grappa, a distillate of humble origin, could become a world-renowned spirit was a prophecy that, a few years later, proved to be amazingly true.

It was a test of blind faith, and Bepi Tosolini invested his entire life in this dream! In the 1950s, he built a new distillery in the heart of Udine, creating Italy's largest grappa cellar, where the containers were ash wood barrels. His inspiring muse was his beloved wife Giovanna, constantly by his side, both working day and night in the distillery. Bepi began to travel all over Italy, from north to south, tirelessly, determined, and with his kindness and good manners, everyone loved him and his Grappa.

In 1973, attention turned to the large distillery in Povoletto, but equipped with traditional stills, again steam-heated and handmade, like the new bain-marie stills that were introduced. Giovanni, the eldest son, had already been working for several years, following in his father's footsteps, adopting the same philosophy of life and production.

With respect, kindness, and honesty, he helped build the dream of a large family, and today his grandchildren Bepi, Bruno, and Lisa work together in the distillery created by their grandfather: an opportunity to perpetuate a tradition that is already looking to the future with its fourth generation.
