DOMAINE DU GRINGET Roussette de Savoie Aubeterre 2022 Savoie 75cl White

Grape Variety: 100% Altesse, planted by Dominique Belluard in the late 1990s.

Terroir: White marl

Located in the Commune of Ayze, the lieu-dit Aubeterre is on the same hillside as La Paille. The boundary between these two climates is marked by the Mimonet road, with Aubeterre situated just below. Previously, Dominique Belluard used grapes from this vineyard to produce the Roussette de Savoie cuvée "Les Grandes Jorasses". To remain consistent with the plot-by-plot approach, the original lieu-dit name is "Aubeterre".

Winemaking: A gentle seven-hour pressing, fermentation using indigenous yeasts. Aged on fine lees for 9 months in concrete eggs. Unfined and unfiltered at bottling, then aged in bottle for 10 months. Light addition of sulfites (total sulfur = 16mg/l).
