Tasting notes: A lovely, open and complex nose of candied citrus, candied lemon, lemon zest, with a few smoky notes. The palate is linear and very fresh, with a saline finish marked by attractive bitters. A beautiful gastronomic cuvée, perfect with Indian-style fish or a cheese platter!

A fine estate of 25 hectares farmed organically, Clos des Jarres was created in 2010 by Vivien Hemelsdael in the villages of Laure and Caunes Minervois, at the foot of the Montagne Noire in the Aude. Vivien, who took over from his parents who used to bring their grapes to the cooperative, tends his vines and guides his wines with the utmost respect for his terroirs and his plants, giving rise to complex, vibrant wines full of life.
