Grape varieties: Garnacha Tintorera & Moravia Agria

Appellation: DO La Mancha, Castilla La Mancha, Spain

Winemaking: Non-interventionist philosophy. The Tintorera is destemmed at 50%, then aged for 8 months in cement tanks. The Moravia Agria is fully destemmed and after 7 days of maceration, is placed in 228-liter French barrels for 8 months.
Aged on lees but without bâtonnage (lees stirring). The only addition of sulfur is at bottling.

Tasting: A fresh, fruity wine with herbaceous notes. A lot of elegance. To be drunk as an aperitif, with roasted chicken, oven-baked lasagna. 🍷 16-18°C

Envínate is a project created by 4 friends, Roberto Santana (Canary Islands), Alfonso Torrente (Ribeira Sacra), Laura Ramos (Murcia) and José Martínez (Almansa), who met in 2005 during their viticulture studies at the University of Alicante, Miguel Hernández. Since 2008, they have been part of a new generation of winemakers in Spain with vineyards in Galicia, Tenerife, Extremadura, and Almansa. Their goal: to produce wines that respect the wine and represent the different terroirs they are fortunate enough to work with.
