A magnificent place that makes you dream of a vacation, the Ribeira Sacra vineyard is located in southeastern Galicia, Spain. The soils are composed of granite and schist on incredible slopes. Some plots still have very beautiful old dry stone walls! The maritime influence is undeniable, bringing softness to the maturity of the grapes.
The Fedellos do Couto vineyard, created in 2011, is the result of a union of several passionate winemakers: Luis Taboada, Pablo Soldavini, Curro Bareno and Jesus Olivares. The small vineyard covers 4 hectares, the vinification methods are truly minimalist; fermentations use indigenous yeasts and whole clusters, and macerations are long and gentle.
These wines are among our Cellar's favorites! They are of incredible finesse and delicacy! They have a bit of the style of Jura wines, very far from preconceived ideas about Spanish wines!
