Located in Causses-et-Veyran, on the clay-limestone side of the Saint-Chinian appellation, Domaine de la Maurine has been a family estate since 1910. After WWII, lacking the means to continue independent winemaking, Paul, Sébastien’s ancestor, joined the local cooperative. In 2003, Sébastien took back full control of the winemaking, vinifying his entire harvest himself. This led to the purchase of a winery and expansion of the estate to 22 hectares. The domaine was certified organic in 2017, driven by a deep commitment to living in harmony with its ecosystem.
