C&F BEJON Picrochole 2022 VdFrance Loire 75cl Red

Grape variety: 100% Cabernet Franc

Terroir: Single-parcel vineyard in Lerné, a 1-hectare walled plot facing south, with clay-limestone soils, flinty clay, and a limestone bedrock. Vines around 40 years old. Aged in sandstone jars and demi-muids.

No added sulphites.

Tasting notes: Fruity and elegant, with pure expression of Cabernet Franc.

🍷 Serving temperature: 16°C recommend decanting for a good hour before serving.

Just outside Chinon, Claire and Florent Bejon farm 5.2 hectares (4.6 ha of Cabernet Franc, 0.6 ha of Chenin). In the vineyard, soils are pampered; in the cellar, winemaking is as natural as possible, with no inputs or sulphites when the vintage allows.
