Vincent Roussely is the 4th generation of this family estate located in the AOC Touraine and Touraine-Chenonceaux, overlooking the banks of the Cher river. It extends over 8 hectares, certified organic since 2007. The oldest vines on the estate are 80 years old. The soil is clay-limestone with numerous flints. The soil is respectfully maintained by ploughing and harrowing without chemicals; the oldest vines are even worked with a horse! The estate is committed to protecting plant and animal diversity within the farm. A big plus: winemaking takes place in superb cellars dug into the tuffeau rock under the vineyard! These galleries were dug 250 years ago and are specially adapted for winemaking and aging their cuvées.
