In 2008, Pierre-Michel Beheity from Domaine Damiens began restructuring the original high-density vineyard, placing a strong focus on the Tannat grape, while also exploring new terroirs through the purchase of a nearby hillside and the rental of vines in a neighbouring village. Not everything was replanted, in order to preserve the heritage of old vines.
At the same time, and through considerable effort, he converted the 16-hectare estate to organic farming. Today, his younger sister Marie has joined him on the domaine, continuing the family tradition of working the land and cultivating the vines.
