Turbulent 1. Literary: Agitated, tumultuous. Turbulent waters, turbulent waves. From the Latin turbulentus, meaning disturbed or agitated. 2. Someone who thrives on disorder and commotion, and goes out of their way to stir things up.

Cloudy 1. (Liquid) Not clear, containing suspended particles. Cloudy water.

Bubble 1. A small sphere of air or gas that rises to the surface of a moving or boiling liquid.

Slow 1. Something that takes time. Fermentation, the growth of a plant.

Tasting Profile: A fermented elderflower infusion blended with the elegance of white tea, creating a beautiful harmony of aromas. Fill your glasses with this floral delight, bursting with notes of lychee and citrus. A naturally alcohol-free ‘champagne’, delicate and wonderfully smooth. Best served well chilled, at any time of day, with your feet in the water or during those endless summer evenings.

Turbulente was born from the shared passion of two locals from Bidart, Alice and Julien, who love fermentation, riding the ocean waves and, above all, great food!

Natural lovers of the good life, they decided in 2021 to establish their own artisan brewery on the Basque coast.

Since then, they have been brewing organic kombuchas and fermented infusions every day, creating fresh, floral and beautifully balanced recipes that celebrate local plants and the art of natural fermentation.
