Aurélien Suenen, a native Champenois, crafts exceptional Champagnes from 3 hectares of superb plots: Oiry, Cramant, and Chouilly (Chardonnay), as well as a small plot (Meuniers) of ungrafted vines in the Vesle valley.

Since 2012, when he took over from his father, he has invested in organic and biodynamic practices to allow the terroir to fully express itself in his wines. He has ceased all synthetic treatments in the vineyard and aims to achieve a balance between all living organisms that constitute his vineyard. The same philosophy applies to winemaking: indigenous yeasts, no fining or filtration... Although natural processes are the keywords, Aurélien's work remains precise and meticulous. His Champagne wines are chiseled, express the minerality of each plot, and possess a strong character.

Here at the shop, we also appreciate the great transparency of information (good!) provided on the labels, map, terroir, technical information... A real plus for enthusiasts looking for small details about the winemaker's work!
