Grape variety: 100% Tannat, not disgorged
Tasting notes: Rounded, generous bubbles. The palate dances between blood orange and crushed strawberry, finishing on a refreshing, savoury bitterness.
🍷 Serve at 10°C
Sébastien Fezas recently took over the family estate Jean Daugé in Courrensan, in the Gers. The vineyard spans 30 hectares, farmed organically and vinified as naturally as possible. Only about 2 hectares (planted with Syrah, Tannat, Colombard, Ugni Blanc, and Manseng) are dedicated to his own cuvées — the rest of the juice goes to friends in the trade through négociant channels.
All of his wines reflect the hallmark freshness and tension of the South-West!
