LA CROIX GRATIOT Rouge Cerise IGP Pays d'Hérault 2024 75cl Red
Grape variety: Syrah
Vinification: Pre-fermentation at low temperatures, gentle extraction, light daily pump-overs during alcoholic fermentation. Total maceration time is 6 days. Bottled in January of the following year
Tasting notes: A light garnet colour, with attractive fruit on the nose and nuances of ripe stone fruits such as Morello cherry, blackberry and liquorice stick. The palate is generous and crunchy, echoing the aromas found on the nose
La Croix Gratiot is a family estate spanning 35 hectares of organically certified vineyards, set between pine-covered hills and the Thau lagoon. It is the story of a father and daughter who observe and learn a little more about their terroir each day. Deep respect for nature and for people lies at the heart of their approach. A biodynamic philosophy and the desire to be fully in tune with their ecosystem guide their work, in order to produce grapes that are as natural as possible, marked by invigorating salinity and freshness.
