The world of wine is vast! There's something for everyone - fortunately. We taste all the wines that come into our Cellar for your (and our) pleasure. But what is our pleasure?
Here, you will not find:
- marketing wines. Alas for the great marketing gurus, we don't fall for "labels", superficial packaging designed to make you believe... unfortunately today an "appellation d'origine contrôlée" is no longer enough; it alone doesn't guarantee the character and quality of a production, and in any case, some of the best winemakers in each region can simply classify their wines as "Vin de France", and that's enough for us. We know where the wine comes from and that marketing is useless.
- generic wines. Chemistry is everywhere; techniques to smooth wines, add inputs willy-nilly, make wines "versatile" for all tastes are easy to do. We offer authentic wines, with personality, where vintages are not alike from one year to the next, and fortunately so!
- supermarket, mass-produced, standard wines. We defend the winemaker's work. A winemaker who fights day after day, year after year, to create for our pleasure a wine that represents both their terroir and their personality.
Here, you will find:
- acidity. Acidity is one of the essential flavors when tasting food. Acidity provides balance in the mouth, freshness, and aging potential.
- an identity. Each winemaker has their own identity, which can often be found in the bottle. Like an artist, the winemaker crafts their wine to produce a wine that captures the work and emotion of an entire year - the weather, the vineyard work, vinification, maturation.
- curiosity. We are continuously searching for wines that spark curiosity. The new generation breaks codes; they are also constantly questioning and seeking how to combine nature and the success of a vintage. You will find confidential wines, pre-releases,
- gastronomy. There are wines for all occasions and all budgets, but as with a Michelin-starred restaurant, sometimes you understand how some got there. It's the same with wine. There are great winemakers, masters. It's not for every day, but it's good for moments that deserve them.
- limited quantity. We often work with winemakers who have small plots - 2 hectares, 4 hectares... Small plots mean small yields, which means not many bottles. When it's gone, it's gone.
- a team attentive to your needs. Our clients come from all backgrounds - amateurs, beginners, young, old, curious, traditional, professionals... Our goal is to meet everyone's desires and tastes and lead you to discover even more.
