ong-awaited "Gamma Ray" from Beavertown ...finally here!! A beautiful, tropical, and juicy Pale ale at 5.4% for hot days...and the return of "Black Betty", a devilishly flavorful black IPA...which we all fell in love with, and we're very happy it's back...and I think we're not the only ones!
From Siren ...only new arrivals...how exciting!! 3 seasonals and two specials (Space ale...?)! So here's the lineup:
Half Mast 2.8% - An IPA packed with hops but perfect for summer because it's light...very light!!
White Tips 4.5% - A combination of the Belgian witbier style with a majority of wheat and a touch of hop waves + citrus zests (orange and grapefruit).
7 Seas 6% - A black IPA with wheat, a stout-like style with notes of maritime pine and resin from macerated hops.
Liquid Monstruous 8.5% - Based on the Liquid Mistress, a red IPA...here's an Imperial Red IPA boosted with American hops Amarillo, Centennial, Simcoe, and Mosaic...it's a boom!
Maiden 2014 11.1% - A vintage "Barley Wine" and "Barrel Aged" beer aged in different types of barrels - Armagnac, Tequila, Banyuls, Sauternes, Bourbon, Cognac, of which the 2013 edition was the first vintage...a blend each year with the Whiskies Compass Box team whom we adore!! A journey in itself...
