ALBERTO ORTE
Alberto has dedicated a large part of his life to showcasing great terroirs, reviving old clones, and replanting almost extinct grape varieties that would otherwise be lost to modernity. Alberto produces wine in many regions of the Iberian Peninsula, including Jerez, Valdeorras, and Rioja.
Alberto believes that low yields, balanced soils, and first-rate raw materials are three fundamental factors in creating balanced, terroir-driven wines. He produces two types of wines: unique terroir wines, under his name Alberto Orte, and more accessible wines from village-designated vineyards, under the name "Vinos Atlántico".
