COMANDO G
Comando G winery aims to produce wines from old Grenache vines. The "G" in the winery's name is in homage to Grenache.
La Bruja de Rozas is a single varietal Grenache cuvée from two plots: Matallana (granitic soil, 950 m altitude, 80-year-old vines) and Entrepinos (granitic sand, 850 m altitude for 50-year-old vines). The estate practices biodynamic agriculture and follows a low-intervention philosophy. Harvesting is therefore done by hand.
Furthermore, vinifications are parcel-specific and carried out in wooden vats, with indigenous yeasts, and aging continues for seven months in vats and demi-muids. When tasted, the connoisseur discovers a beautiful wine with aromas of rose and notes of pepper and cocoa. The palate is refined, mineral, and the tannins are light, well-integrated. Grenache brings its touch of freshness and character to the wine.
