DISTILLERIE TWELVE Azurite Peated Whisky bottled 10/2025 48% 50cl Single Malt Whisky France

€7421 EUR

This single malt is the result of a blend of 6 Pineau des Charentes casks, 2 Muscat de Rivesaltes casks and one new cask - aged in a dry and humid cellar

It was gravity bottled, without filtration or colouring, at 48%, after a slow reduction over several months.

Tasting notes: On the nose, notes of dried fruit, marzipan, then opening up to aromas of smoked bacon and leather, concluding with notes of burnt sugar and a slight mentholated side. The palate is round, full and opulent.

The Twelve distillery (Douze, like the department...) is located in Laguiole on the Aubrac plateau. Its Celtic origins, peat bogs and pure water echo the motherlands of whisky: Scotland and Ireland. The French distillery was created at an altitude of over 1000 metres!

Its symbol is the bull, coming from the depths of time. The first letter of the Proto-Sinaitic alphabet, one of the oldest known, the logo aims to honour the emblematic animal of Aubrac, but also the volcanic geology of the region, millions of years old, guaranteeing the exceptional water that is the basis of this whisky.

The philosophy at Twelve Whisky d'Aubrac: to connect the ancestral with modernity, tradition with purity.
