ETXONDOA ESTATE
Domaine Etxondoa in the AOC Irouléguy appellation is located in Ispoure, at the gates of St Jean Pied de Port. Established on 4.5 hectares only since the 2020 vintage, the vines are situated on the steep slopes of Arradoy with a gradient of 30 to 45%! "Xut" pronounced "Chut" meaning "slope" by force of circumstances... The south-facing plots and the magnificent red sandstone terroir impart great ripeness and minerality to the wines, expressing full and ample palates with a lot of character! The wines are not chaptalized, deacidified, or subjected to other chemical interventions. The wines are very lightly sulfited to preserve all the organoleptic qualities of the wine.
