DOMAINE VILLET

Domaine Villet in Arbois is currently run by Christine and Gérard Villet, who established it in 1988. Wine is a family affair, as their ancestors were already winemakers in Arbois since the 1900s. Upon setting up, conversion to organic viticulture was a natural progression, making them pioneers of this type of agriculture in their region. Six small plots make up the estate, totaling 5.4 hectares. The estate, which has always been human-sized, practices peasant farming based on observation and common sense, with as few interventions as possible, traditional winemaking, indigenous yeasts, and long aging periods.

Very proud of their beautiful town of Arbois, the capital of Jura wines, they wanted to pay homage to it on the label by immortalizing the "St Just" bell tower, the "Tour Gloriette" and the "Pont des Capucins".
