It is on the Cadillac hillside, at the highest point of Bellevue, that Guillaume had the opportunity to establish his small 2.8-hectare estate. The wines of Domaine de La Renouée draw their freshness from this high-altitude terroir.
This terroir is unique in Bordeaux because the red gravel soils are located at the top of the hill. This local particularity, well known to geologists, constitutes the soul of this terroir.
Since 2019, Guillaume has therefore left his position as Technical Manager in Saint-Emilion to embark on his own adventure, with a strong inclination for forgotten Bordeaux grape varieties, which he replants gradually.
