LADEVEZE
The Ladevèze vineyard has been established in Montréal-sur-Gers for five generations. Jean and his son Alexandre work organically on 15 hectares. The representation of the diversity of local grape varieties is of particular importance to them; indeed, they vinify and distill varieties such as Folle blanche, Baco, Plant de Graisse, Mauzac Rosé, and of course Ugni blanc... They are also looking to introduce Meslier St François, Jurançon blanc, and Mauzac blanc. The wines are produced naturally, and their Armagnacs, whose distinctive feature is being offered as single varietals, are remarkably refined.
