Lafarge rhymes with Volnay, but also with Fleurie, ever since Chantal Vial and Fréderic Lafarge took over the vineyards in Beaujolais at Fleurie. The work is as meticulous as in Volnay; the estate is managed and cultivated according to biodynamic principles. In Fleurie, Lafarge Vial has 4 hectares of vines, vinified in the Burgundian style.
