TERRES DE ROA
Domaine de Terres de Roa is a pioneer in Organic Farming in the Saint-Pourçain appellation, certified since 2009. It is therefore with respect for the environment that Claudine, Luc, and one of their daughters, Loren, now manage their 11-hectare vineyard, with plots spread across the communes of Monétay sur Allier and Bresnay. The sandy soil of the first allows the fruit to express itself more, while the granitic soil of the second allows the terroir's minerality to dominate. The estate has only been making its own wine on-site since 2010. In the vineyard, fertilizers, pesticides, etc., have been banned, making way for respect for the environment and natural rhythms: preparations, Bordeaux mixture, vegetable compost, plowing...
