VINCENT DAUVISSAT Chablis 1er Cru La Forest 2022 75cl White

An iconic estate in Chablis, Domaine Dauvissat is now among the greatest white wine producers in Burgundy. The estate has been cultivated for three generations. René, Vincent's father, and before him Robert, his grandfather, already worked their vineyards and bottled their own wines. Vincent has been managing the estate that bears his name since 1989. Today, Étiennette, Vincent's daughter, also works alongside her father.

The estate's 12 hectares of vines cover the four local appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru (6 ha), and Grand Cru (2.7 ha). The vines have been cultivated biodynamically since 2002, without seeking certification. Vinifications are very low-intervention, with minimal sulfur. The wines have a very long aging potential; each of the climates will develop and fully reveal the complexity of its terroir.
