Grapes: Sauvignon, Sémillon, and Muscadelle in equal parts
Terroir: Gravelly rise with a clay-limestone subsoil
Vine age: 55 years
Tasting notes: A beautiful straw-yellow colour with shiny silver highlights. An intense nose of white fruits with a rounded and complex vanilla aroma, without excessive oak. The palate is fresh with fine, balanced acidity, and a dominant round fruitiness with a touch of richness. This is a refined and complex white wine.
🍷 Serving temperature: 18°C, decant 2 hours before serving. This wine can be cellared for around ten years.
Planted on a gravelly rise with a clay-limestone base, the vineyard benefits from natural drainage towards the Eau Blanche stream. The 24-hectare estate includes 9.5 hectares of small vineyard plots bordered by hedgerows. The property is now farmed organically.
