Yvan Bernard established his domaine in 2001 in the village of Montpeyroux, in the Puy-de-Dôme. Farmed according to biodynamic principles since 2017, the estate now covers 10 hectares spread across several areas, ranging from the limestone soils of Blanzat, the basalt of Corent, to the decomposed granite of Montpeyroux.
Across these varied terroirs, Yvan cultivates the emblematic Gamay d’Auvergne, Pinot Noir and Syrah, as well as Chardonnay and Aligoté, with Savagnin to follow. The wines are made with little or no added sulphur and are aged in a range of vessels, including stainless steel tanks, old barrels and amphorae.
Beautiful emotions in the land of the Puys.
