Tasting notes: Superb aromatic complexity, with dense dark fruit, a smooth, velvety texture and impressive length.
🍷 Serving temperature: 18°C, ageing potential: 8 years.
A fine estate of 25 hectares farmed organically, Clos des Jarres was created in 2010 by Vivien Hemelsdael in the villages of Laure and Caunes Minervois, at the foot of the Montagne Noire in the Aude. Vivien, who took over from his parents who used to bring their grapes to the cooperative, tends his vines and guides his wines with the utmost respect for his terroirs and his plants, giving rise to complex, vibrant wines full of life.
