COMBRILLAC Faire Terre 2024 Bergerac 75cl White
Grape varieties: Sémillon (60%) with 8-day maceration, Sauvignon (30%) with 5-day maceration & Chenin (10%) with direct pressing
Terroir: Upper terrace of the Dordogne valley
Winemaking/aging: Natural oxidation of the juices during pressing, no sulfur during winemaking, indigenous yeasts from pied de cuve, long fermentations of several months (alcoholic and malolactic fermentation) in barrels more than 10 years old to avoid imparting oak flavor to the wines / 12 months of aging in Italian sandstone amphorae (100%)
Tasting notes: A natural wine that navigates between freshness, fruit vibrancy, and a lovely body!
🍷 Serving temperature 17°C
Domaine Combrillac is an experimental ground for Florent and Uyen. Aware of climate change and the evolution of agriculture, they are embarking on innovative projects mixing all forms of life, to create an osmosis between various plants, vines, fruit trees or not, animals, cohabiting in the same spaces, feeding off each other. A truly inspiring laboratory that seems to be bearing fruit in redefining the agriculture of tomorrow.
