Located in Scherwiller in the Bas-Rhin, Domaine Achillée has been farming biodynamically for over 20 years. The Dietrich family takes their eco-responsible approach even further with the construction of the largest straw-bale winery in Europe. Nothing is left to chance when it comes to capturing the true essence of their parcels, planted on a mosaic of soils; gravel, sandstone, schist, clay and granite. Natural winemaking allows their classic Alsatian varieties (Riesling, Muscat, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir) to express themselves without artifice, as close to the terroir as possible.
