Emilien's words on the 2020 vintage: "Clearly structured for aging, don't hesitate to decant it or at least give it time...not particularly sunny nor particularly cold, I would say it plays on both "temperatures" and I feel it as much in terms of textures as in aromatic evolution. Often vertical (without being austere) on opening, I insist (as always in fact, but some vintages like this one more than others) you gain so much by letting them breathe!"
I'll let you savor the lyricism of a beautiful poetic text by Emilien presenting his approach!
"I am proud to be a winegrower
To work with this vine that crosses rocks, capable of creating its own soil in stone.
This powerful plant, very resilient and at the same time very sensitive, has always had an intimate connection with people wherever it has been planted.
I love the relationship between its cultivation and nature.
Well-rooted, it spirals, voluble, exploratory.
My head in the stars, the vine allows me to keep my feet on the ground. To make the invisible perceptible.
Earth or art? Terroir!"
