FRUITSLAGERS Smoked Lime 34cl Syrup
Fresh and smoky. The alcohol-free cousin of mezcal! Notes of vanilla from local wild plants.
Flavor: Mix 1 part Smoked Lime with 7 parts tap water (sparkling) for an aperitif glass.
Preparation/Tasting : Leftover Smoked Lime Syrup. Lime is a beloved ingredient in cooking and at the bar. But if this juicy tropical fruit is even slightly less green, it ends up in the compost after its round-the-world trip. What a waste! Let's welcome these far-flung travelers with open arms. To banish the evil spirits of the industry, we ritually smoke lime on a bed of bedstraw and sage. This imparts… Smoked Lime. Its distinctive mezcal character, with hints of vanilla from local wild plants and a balanced smoky flavor. Resurrected from the ashes, Smoked Lime holds its own among alcoholic beverages.Â
Ingredients : Fruit and herb infusion (water, 10% smoked lime, orange, yellow bedstraw, sage, salt, citric acid, lime leaf), sugar, 20% lime juice, salt, acidifier: citric acid.
