JEAN DAUGE Franche Lippée 2023 Vin de France Gers 75cl Red
Grape variety: 100% Syrah
Terroir: Clay-limestone soils
Tasting notes: A spicy nose typical of Syrah, bursting with red fruits. The palate is smooth and easy-drinking, with a lively, tangy finish and a touch of silky tannins; a deliciously moreish wine with a bold personality!
🍷 Serving temperature: 16-17°C
Sébastien Fezas recently took over the family estate, Domaine Jean Daugé, in Courrensan (Gers). The vineyard covers 30 hectares, farmed organically and vinified as naturally as possible. Only about 2 hectares (Syrah, Tannat, Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Manseng) are dedicated to his own cuvées, while the rest of the grapes are sold to friends and fellow winemakers. All his wines express the freshness and tension so characteristic of those from the South-West of France!
