Jean Maupertuis is a winemaker in Auvergne, on plots facing Clermont-Ferrand in Saint-Georges-sur-Allier. This gentleman, of great kindness and humility, decided to set up in 1996 after starting in a completely different career. His idea is to be close to nature and work naturally. His small cellar door doesn't look like much, but behind it Jean works meticulously and his wines have continued to please! Jean cultivates a little over 3 ha of Gamay and Pinot Noir, his wines are fresh with rather low alcohol content thanks to the altitude of the plots (450 m).
