A blend of rhums aged in wood, sourced from red cognac casks and oak foudres.
Tasting notes: Notes of honey, a hint of wood, vanilla and tonka bean for a whole carried by roundness and finesse.
The Longueteau Distillery:
Since 1895, the Longueteau Distillery, still family-owned to this day, has been producing Rhum Agricole from the sugar cane plantations of the Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte Marie, located at the foot of the Soufrière massif. It is also the only distillery on the island to be self-sufficient in sugar cane thanks to its 70 hectares of land!
The estate comprises 12 plots of 2 varieties of Sugar Cane, Red Cane (R-579) and Blue Cane (B69-566). Each plot of the estate is cultivated and selected to convey the expression of an exceptional terroir, the perfect combination of soil, environment and family know-how.
