LOUIS ANTOINE LUYT

Louis-Antoine Luyt first arrived in Chile in 1998. His journey began in the kitchen, eventually leading him to an interest in wine. He traveled between France and Chile, but with a real desire to make wine, Louis-Antoine trained in viticulture in Beaune before settling in Chile as a winemaker with his cousin, Matthieu de Genevraye. Together in 2006, they created Clos Ouvert. However, an earthquake severely impacted their estate, forcing them to close their business.

Louis-Antoine continued by creating his own wine structure, always aiming to produce quality natural wine. Thanks to his convictions, hard work, and patience, Louis-Antoine Luyt established himself as a pioneer in winemaking. His emblematic grape variety is Pais.
