New arrivals
Our beloved Aveyron terroirs are back in the cellar! Undulating vineyards as far as the eye can see and terroirs of all colors: red sandstone, schist, granite, limestone... for wines with strong character! Just like the winegrowers who make them! Pauline Broqua, after an extremely difficult year in terms of climatic hazards, is still kind enough to let us have her wines, in smaller quantities but always of high quality. Discover her very beautiful and delicate cuvĂ©es from the terroirs of Entraygues & le Fel, made from Chenin or Fer Servadou / Cabernet-Franc. Also returning are the superb wines from Patrick Rols on the Conques schists, they are so good! The quantities are also small this year, but we will have to be satisfied and savor what there is đ The great Tandem cuvĂ©e from Costes Rouges had slipped into the Aveyron palette, a Marcillac Fer Servadou with resolutely spicy and very gourmet characteristics!
Let's stay in the Southwest and discover the Clos D'Audhuy near Cahors, a real favorite for us! Benoßt settled in Lacapelle-Cabanac in 2014 and took over some beautiful plots from his grandfather on different mosaic terroirs. Working organically, soil work and observation are important to him. Discover his wonderful cuvée Queue de Pressoir, a Ségalin press (an ancient, rather rustic grape variety) blended with Malbec. You'll find delicious red berries and a lovely freshness!
More returnees! Domaine des Grandes Vignes in Anjou, a family vineyard certified Demeter for a long time. We received red cuvĂ©es, the now famous "Le Petit Vaillant" cuvĂ©e that you love so much, made from Groslot and Cabernet Franc, "l'Aubinaie" a juicy and spicy cuvĂ©e, and also "Bulle Nature" a truly great, invigorating and salivating natural sparkling wine! Available in bottle AND magnum đ A small, confidential arrival of the rare and now highly sought-after Domaine AndrĂ©e with four single-vineyard cuvĂ©es, wines expressing beautiful minerality and remarkable finesse... If you are brave enough, these bottles can easily be left in the cellar for a few years đ
A quick trip to Beaujolais! A new arrival from Fleurie, Domaine Les Bertrand, now in its 3rd generation. This vineyard has been committed to environmental and sustainable practices since the 90s. Discover their wonderful gastronomic (or cellaring!) bottle, "Coup d'Foudre"! Also, the new Morgon vintage from Domaine Chamonard is back on our shelves! An emblematic domain that needs no introduction, its Morgon is available in bottles AND magnums!
A little further north, we are very happy to rediscover delicious and affordable Burgundian Pinot Noirs! This is the Domaine de l'EvĂȘché located in the CĂŽte Chalonnaise, producing excellent wines. You can discover their Pinot Noir and AligotĂ© cuvĂ©es, as well as a single-vineyard Mercurey!
Finally, let's end with a ray of sunshine and southern sweetness, albeit with a little coolness in the evening, from the famous Pic Saint-Loup region! Le Mas du Figuier is a new addition to the cellar, offering easy-drinking and palatable wines with excellent value for money. For your meals, try the Pic Saint-Loup appellation cuvĂ©e, more concentrated in dark fruits â don't forget to decant it!
