Domaine Payen, Loire freshness
A new winemaker in the Loire landscape, Ludovic Payen is one of many new winemakers in France. After a first career in finance, Ludovic quickly reoriented himself towards viticulture. As a vineyard worker in prestigious estates, he took over the 28 hectares of Domaine Martin in Chaudefonds-sur-Layon in Anjou Noir at short notice. Not intending to take over an estate of this size immediately, he was able to rely on a long-standing team to produce first vintages full of vitality. The Prélud cuvées are his first creations, fresh and crisp, wonderfully thirst-quenching. Anjou, Feu!!!
Aurélien Revillot, a Burgundian Bourgueil
New arrival of wines from Aurélien Revillot. This Burgundian by origin settled in Restigné some time ago. On these Bourgueil terroirs, he pampers his Cabernet Franc grapes to give them their most beautiful expression. Gentle pruning, tying to avoid overly traumatic trimming and constant attention provide healthy and ripe grapes, allowing Aurélien to offer us sensual, juicy wines of a certain elegance, the paroxysm that this grape variety can offer us at just the right phenolic ripeness. A true work of art!!
Bertin-Delatte, Anjou freshness
Since 2008, in the commune of Rablay-sur-Layon in Anjou, Nicolas Bertin and Geneviève Delatte have been working their estate in the purest possible way: vines cultivated without chemical products, additives banned from vinification and aging (apart from a few grams of sulfur if necessary, but in infinitesimal doses) for expressions of Grolleau and Pineau d'Aunis stripped of all frills but so enticing. Low alcohol, tart fruit, juicier for the Grolleau and spicier for the Pineau d'Aunis, for thirst-quenching cuvées without forgetting a certain complexity. And what about this beautiful Chenin Pet Nat, aged 3 years on lees..... between fine bubbles and chiseled indulgence. A good omen for the first warm days!!

In Brouzet-les-Quissac, the Feuillade brothers have been running their estate since 2002. The limestone scree, cool nights, and a desire to work plot by plot and in organic farming, allow the two brothers to vinify characterful cuvées with a beautiful brilliance. Red wines with garrigue and spice contours, southern whites maintaining an energetic and anised backbone. A journey that smells of this naturally olfactory and sonorous Mediterranean hinterland, where a light sweater is essential when the sun retracts its last rays to give way to a beautiful starry sky.
