CHANDON DE BRIAILLES

Domaine Chandon de Briailles, located in the Côte de Beaune, has belonged to the same Chandon family since 1834! Today, Claude and François, heirs of their Grandmother Countess Chandon, work meticulously to honor their beautiful vineyard heritage.

Organic farming has played a significant role in the estate since the 1980s. Nadine de Nicolay realized very early on the misguided nature of the entire existing array of chemical vine treatments. From then on, the estate naturally resumed working the soil. In fact, 5 horses have been used for plowing since 2014.

The estate has been certified by the Demeter label since 2018. Due to the deep root penetration it promotes and its completely natural aspect, biodynamics gives wines an inimitable mouthfeel and aromatic complexity. The wines are magnified and possess unparalleled elegance and charm. This meticulous work allows for the precise revelation of the aromatic identity of each climate.
