In memory of the “golden jars” once hidden by pirates… passion fruit has earned its reputation as the ultimate exotic fruit thanks to its uniquely captivating flavour. A delicate alchemy of sweetness and acidity, its juicy, scarlet pulp is elegantly enhanced by the subtle spice of pink peppercorn.
Gadyamb is the story of Julien and Etienne, two childhood friends from the island of Réunion. Passionate about rum, they founded Rhums Gadyamb in 2018, offering a range of finely crafted infused rums, later followed by punch blends.
At Gadyamb, they create ethical infused rums; 100% Réunion-made and therefore entirely Made in France. Everything is produced locally and sustainably, using the island’s finest ingredients, sourced directly from producers and favouring virtuous farming practices (organic, sustainable, Label Rouge, etc.).
The fruits are picked at perfect ripeness and hand-cut on-site in Réunion to preserve all their flavours. “TIPA TIPA” (Slowly but surely); a careful, gradual ageing and dilution process allows the blend to harmonise smoothly into a precise and delicious balance. Patience is golden. The sweetness is kept to a minimum to let the natural aromas shine through.
