Grape varieties: Chardonnay, Muscat, Gewürztraminer & Riesling
Tasting notes: Fairly intense on the nose with notes of citrus and toasted sesame. The palate is broad and generous, held together by a beautiful acidity that acts as a guiding thread. The light effervescence gives it a spicy lift on the finish, with hints of white pepper.
🍷 Serving temperature: 9–10°C
In the village of Eguisheim, the name Ginglinger has been associated with wine since 1610; 13 generations of winemakers. Michel took over from his father in 2000, and today he and his wife farm 13 hectares of Alsatian varieties. The vineyards lie between 220 and 340 metres above sea level, with mainly east and southeast exposures, including plots on the prestigious Grand Crus Eichberg and Pfersigberg. Their work is guided by intelligence, care, and deep respect for the surrounding ecosystem.
