XAVIER BENIER Côte de Brouilly 2023 75cl Red
Grape variety: Gamay
The Côte de Brouilly appellation is reserved for vines planted on the slopes of Mont Brouilly, where the subsoil is composed mainly of diorite; a very hard, volcanic-origin rock. This striking blue stone sparkles with a thousand glints.
Tasting notes: This wine reveals floral and spicy notes. The palate is finely chiselled, fresh and vibrant. The texture is deep yet elegant.
Xavier Benier is part of a new generation of winemakers committed to producing natural Beaujolais wines without additives. He also crafts wines from several of the Beaujolais Crus, always with the same low-intervention philosophy.
