The name Laugar first appeared in 2010, when brewing was simply a hobby. Thirsty for change in a dull beer landscape dominated by industrial breweries, what began as a few batches brewed for personal enjoyment gradually grew into something much bigger.
By mid-2014, this passion had evolved into a new professional adventure, with the establishment of their brewery in Gordexola, Biscay, in the Spanish Basque Country.
From the very beginning, their philosophy has been clear: quality over quantity, crafting beers with passion, honesty and a genuine commitment to great brewing.
