Jean-Pierre Proharam established his estate in 2004. His father already owned some vines, the harvest of which was sold to the cooperative. Located on the hillsides of Lasseube, his vines benefit from excellent sun exposure with the beautiful Pic du Midi d'Ossau in the background. Jean-Pierre is very concerned about the environment and the careful tending of his vines; everything is cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods, with an increased focus on observation! Deeply attached to Occitan culture, the names of his cuvées reflect this: "Sonque Ta Tu" ("Only for you" for his daughter), Esberit ("Fiery" for his son).

As a side note, Jean has been the given name of the eldest son for 4 generations, in homage to the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, affectionately known locally as "Jean-Pierre"!
