Jean-Pierre Proharam established his estate in 2004. His father already owned a few vines, the harvest of which was sold to the cooperative. Located on the slopes of Lasseube, his vineyards benefit from excellent exposure with the beautiful Pic du Midi d'Ossau in the background. Jean-Pierre is deeply committed to the environment and the proper care of his vines; everything is cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods, with meticulous attention to detail! Deeply attached to Occitan culture, the names of his wines reflect this heritage: "Sonque Ta Tu" ("Just for You" for his daughter), and "Esberit" ("Fiery" for his son).
As a little anecdote, Jean is the first name given to the eldest for 4 generations in homage to the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, nicknamed "Jean-Pierre" in our region!
