Gaelle Steunou cultivates her vines on 1.5 hectares not far from Vailhan, nestled in the garrigue, at the top of a forest track.

These are 4 plots of old vines (between 30 and 100 years old) planted in gobelet (bush-trained), without trellising.
Schist soil. Fauna and flora thrive in this preserved natural setting. The vines are cultivated traditionally (using a pickaxe, among other things...) and everything is done manually (no tractor or tracked vehicle). Just brush clearing to limit the height of natural weeds and a flock of sheep every year during the winter period.
