HYOGO 135 East Gin 42° 70cl Japan

€4800 EUR

"My goal was to create a gin with a very strong personality, one that would echo Japan's opening to the world in the 1920s."
Kimio Yonezawa

Named after the 135th meridian that runs through Akashi City in Hyogo Prefecture, 135° East embodies our passion for discovering what lies beyond borders. Inspired by the Taisho era, this unexpected gin pays homage to a time when Eastern and Western cultures merged.

By combining new flavors with the classic botanicals of London Dry Gin, Kimio Yonezawa created an innovative and unconventional new style of gin: the "Hyogo Dry Gin."

A blend of 3 traditional European botanicals with 5 Japanese botanicals – all sourced from small local producers and the best specialists in Japan. Before being blended, each one is distilled separately to better preserve its characteristics.

Thanks to vacuum distillation, a process common in fine perfumery, 135° East preserves the delicacy and subtleties of the aromas of each of its botanicals.
