LONGUETEAU Opéra batch2 47.3% Cask Strength 70cl Guadeloupe
Like a conductor, François Longueteau, cellar master of the Longueteau distillery, unveils an exceptional blend of very old agricultural rums, carefully aged in ex-cognac barrels.
An exceptional rarity, this limited edition cuvée, with only 480 bottles available in mainland France, is produced only every three years. This 47.3° rum offers immediate indulgence, with melted vanilla, notes of candied fruit, and a caramelized finish that brings remarkable length and sweetness.
Opéra, the culmination of the Harmonie collection, embodies all the aromatic refinement of the House of Longueteau.
The Longueteau Distillery:
Since 1895, the Longueteau Distillery, still family-owned to this day, has been producing agricultural rums from the sugarcane plantations of the Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte Marie, located at the foot of the Soufrière massif. It is also the only one on the island to be self-sufficient in sugarcane thanks to 70 hectares of plots!
The estate is composed of 12 plots of 2 varieties of sugarcane, Red Cane (R-579) and Blue Cane (B69-566). Each plot of the estate is cultivated and selected to convey the expression of an exceptional terroir, the perfect conjunction of soil, environment, and family savoir-faire.
